How WBC Fails: God H8's 11/19

The Westboro Baptist Church (or WBC) is an Independent Baptist “church” known for its extreme stance against homosexuality, other religions, and anything else that tickles their fancy. They are also known for their greatly offensive protest activities against fallen service men/woman and high profile aka popular people. In this special section created, we will explore their hateful and distorted “divine” teachings and expose them for what they truly are, a hate group who uses religion for personal power.

Part: 11/19
Name: Jews didn't kill Jesus - He was a Jew - Pt 11 of WBCs GOD H8S vid

Update: Videos have been removed. Blog now shows video of all of them combined.

Bible Verse use:
Thes. 2:14-15: For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men
Acts 3:12-15: And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Matt. 27:22-25: Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

This is actually plastered inside my office

All white people are fat lazy slobs, all black people steal and loot. Anyone from another country are dumb non-English speaking gits, and everyone from America has the intelligence of a peanut.

Isn’t making sweeping generalizations fun? Who cares about silly things like facts and proof when anyone can just say whatever they want and get away with it! Hell let’s even throw in some religious crap for good measure. Damn them greedy Jews and their proper spending and saving habits! Christians just want to take over the world pinky and the brain style! Curse every something something something! Oh and them Buddhist, always plotting with their peaceful ways! We can have a real bloody party now! The problem with making such nonsense is a sweeping generalization applies a general statement too broadly. How can you say all Americans are idiots, for example, without first meeting every one? How about all whites being fat and lazy? Without ample proof or reference the person must rely on tone to pass off such ridiculous statements as true. We call this “the act of bullshitting” or bs-ing for short. In days where the internet is on everything including your phone and toaster, one would think people would think before they open their mouth. Oh if only... Considering how this small time blogger could check any “fact” the WBC says in less than thirty seconds, one would think they would do a better job with their videos… yea my bad there too.

Today's video, hosted by wbc member Betty, maturely explores their currently line of thinking on how Jesus was a Jew and how the horrid Jewish people are responsible for the deaths of more than just Christ. As we can see by tone and body language, she attempts to use assumptions as fact, and once again fall short of anything meaningful. Like with every previous and future videos produced by this cult of hate, we will explore just how wrong they are, and why. But before I begin, I have a message from the awesome sushi place I order from at least once a week;

“WBC crazy people,
Thank you making many dumb videos. Because of you, Hank is one of best customer, keep up good work”

What she said:“Yes Jesus was a Jew what’s your point?”

When one begins researching various sources and explanations of the bible, it usually takes a good deal of time to do so. You can never take anything at face value, for the time of the bible was also the time of great symbolism. This was a time before the internet, before tv and before the "modern" era. A time when the sun was still thought of as the High Father, and when paintings could have more meaning than just art. Proof, even that found in a symbolically heavy bible, must be found before anything is accepted. The above quote is the first thing said by WBC member Betty (the same one who acted super shy during “The most hated family in America in crisis” series) after rolling her eyes at the camera. So what is the point? In Matthew 5:17 Christ himself says “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” It is a relatively simple task to find straight biblical evidence that Mary the moral sinless mother of the Divine, had a good deal of Jewish heritage in her blood. We also see that along with passing many traditions onto her only son, Mary followed the Law of Moses like any good Jew would. But does that really make Christ a Jew? My mother is very much Christian, but that does not make me a follower of Christ. Christ already said he came to fulfill the laws of the prophets; which he did according to the New Testament aka Christendom. Could the SON OF GOD, who was born to this world to bring forth a new covenant really be a Jew himself? Honestly it really doesn’t matter, he is a God after all….

As a final note, WBC member and media master for the cult, Steven Drain stated that Christ was the Son of God (20mins in) as a retort to a reporting saying Christ was a Jew. So much for getting your stories straight...

What she said:“Are you saying Jews did not kill Jesus because he was a Jew?”
In no way would anyone say that, for we have over six thousand years of people killing people for variety of reasons. What we are saying however is;

  • You shouldn’t hate on someone that isn’t doing harm.
  • You shouldn't lie and steal.
  • Be a child abuser, whore and so on, then condemn others for doing the same
  • You should at least take some time to look up items before opening your idiotic mouth powered by your small brain.

What she said: “The new testament often and clearly says that the Jews killed Christ.”

Humans love to talk. Either by internet, phone, television, radio or in person, people will talk on for hours on end about nothing and everything. We have various media devoted to the news of the day, about issues of both men and women, and about the world around us. At times, news and networks will devote great amount of times and monies to one single issue. Why? Because it’s important. The more it is discuses, and the longer it’s allowed to be discussed, the more important the issue is. Remember when the horrid natural disaster hit Japan? CNN reported on that 24/7 for nearly a whole week. You can see this even in the bible, where grievous sins are spoken about in length and various chapters. Seriously you take all the doubling up and you suddenly have a four hundred page bible.  Within the over nine thousand pages of the New Testament, the following verses relate credence the above statement Betty just tried to sell us. Matthew 26:3-5, Luke 22:1-2, John 5:16-18, John 7:1, 19-20, 25, John 8:37-44, John 19:10-12, John 18:36b, and Acts 5:27-30.

....ok

If we count each verse as one instance, that’s a total of ten times. If this is what is considered “often”, I would hazard the WBC has a little problem. When it comes to the divine and the very core of the faith, one would think NOTHING could top it's importance. When Jesus' mortal self died on the cross to save the souls of all who believed, this was not something reminiscent of a ten second news cast. "Oh btw Jesus died to save you, k thanks bye" just doesn't cut it. By the same token, you would also think the people who did said killing would have a bull eyes pointed at them for all eternity... you know like Obsam Bin Laden did.  So why isn't such a grievous blasphemy as all the Jews killing Christ mentioned more? By contrast, would it surprise you that homosexuality is mentioned 12 times? Lol wut?!?! Homosexuality is more important than Christ now? Bloody hell if we keep counting, we see the sin of hatred is mentioned 21 times, lying and false testimony (*eyes Mr. Phelps*) 30 , greed, avarice and covetousness 40, theft 42, adultery 52 (*eyes Ms Phelps), murder 57, self-righteousness 79, and idolatry 169 times.

What was that about "often" again?

What she said: The Jews killed Lord Jesus and their own prophets and have persecuted us.”
A while ago, there was an interesting poll on MMO-champ. Housed in the off topic section, the poll asked “What do you think of world peace. Do you think it can ever happen? If not, why not?” If you ever visited any type of gamming forum before, you know how easily a topic can be trolled to hell, and degenerate into mindless prattle. While reading the many posting, I was surprised at not only the size of the thread, but also the responses and lines of thought coming from it. When the thread finally reached its limit, a staggering 80% of four thousand votes related “No to world peace, because of religion”. All of these people actually believed that because of religion, the world could never enjoy the blessings of a peaceful world. What I found even more staggering is the fact both my mother and I agree with them. Even if we remove the idiocy of humans, when one records dogma that directly conflicts with another, bad things are going to happen. How frigging sad is that?

So let’s take the first part of the above statement “The Jews killed Lord Jesus”

Although the coming of Christ was meant to fulfill the various prophesies of the old testament AND act as an expansion pack for Judaism, the new religion (later reformed several times to what we now call Christianity) was quick to run into Jewish opposition. The main reason can be seen as, once any faith rests in the hands of humans everything goes to shit. People of different faiths just don’t seem to get along for some odd reason. Le sigh. If we continue on, as the new faith became more and more popular anti-Jewish sentiments began rearing it’s ugly head. There are quite a few verse scattered about, we will focus on the main one brought up in this video. Thes. 2:14-15: For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:  Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men”.

I’m sure you can make a wild guess how this affected the mentality of early Christendom. It’s like giving a gun to a drunken frat party, their god gave them a free pass to justify years of Jewish oppression and violence... because you know they haven’t suffered enough up to this point /rolls eyes. After all they “killed” Christ right?

…. Uh how about no.

Can the WBC prove that every single Jew at the time was in front of the fail Roman idiot screaming for Christ to be killed? Can the WBC prove that every past, present and future Jew wanted Christ dead? So was it the Jews that “killed” Christ or was it a group of people (who happened to have some Jews) and the Romans who “killed” Christ? Can we honestly blame every Christian alive today for what happened during the Crusades and Spanish inquisition? While we are on the subject, how does one kill a God to begin with?

“…and their own prophets…”

Be you an enemy of the state, town’s people, religious out speaker or simply not paying your taxes, chances are you'll be meeting your maker shortly. Sadly the lives of the “everyday” people are and will never be recorded in the pages of history, they simply where not important enough. However considering their status to both people and the pages of history, the deaths of prophets would be mentioned in some capacity in the bible; after all they died for the cause! They, the great holy men (and sometimes women) of Yahweh, lived and died not only for the people, but for the Lord most high! Unsurprisingly, the statement found in the above verse is found lacking in any scriptural evidence.  Making a quick scan of various bible info sites (I’m not reading a 9000+ page book again), thirty some prophets are mentioned by name.*1 Many of these prophets where so revered they would later have books in their name, many of which we still have today*2.  While this is awesome and all, we still find one curious thing lacking, many of the before mentioned prophets have no scriptural evidence that they were killed.  What of the ones that are mentioned? Moses, Samuel and Elisha are mentioned without any indication that their demises were by anything other than natural causes. Old age, it gets you every time. In yet another example, we have Elijah not even dying; he made like the ancients in Star Gate and ascended. Johnny the Baptist was killed not by the Jews but at the behest of Herodias, the wife and former sister-in-law of Herod, who took offense at John's denunciation of her. Even if she was a Jew, this act was done because she was a jerk, not because of some Jew’s mojo.

“….and have persecuted us.”

I’m sorry WBC, what where you saying again?

Was Jesus a Jew? Does it really matter? Maybe he followed the traditions of a Jew, but he was still the Son of a God. His faith, life and love was in the father, not some fudged human formed faith. Did the Jew’s really go around killing gods for fun and profit? Hell no, How could they? Jews are not the blood thirsty heathens like the WBC tries to make them out to be.  Once again our cult of lies has once again missed the main message of the bible and fell flat on their face.

Jesus “died” for us all, so be excellent to each other.

*1 Like today, being mentioned by name is such a book is kinda a big deal.

*2 When researching this section, I found a interesting side not. We have five prophets, Shemiah, Iddo, Nathan, Gad, and Jehu, who are mentioned as having books onto themselves, but are now no where to be found. Since God only allows things to happen that he ok’ed (according to the WBC), why would God allows his words and revelations (as given to this people) to vanish from history?
